March 19, Fineko/abc.az. According to traders, Asian oil refiners have asked Saudi Arabia to change the pricing system for the oil they purchase after the war in the Middle East disrupted the traditional system, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Bloomberg.

The largest buyers of Saudi oil want the price to be determined by Brent crude futures at the Intercontinental Exchange, and not based on a combination of Dubai and Oman benchmarks.

At the same time, traders say that negotiations with Saudi Aramco are still ongoing and may not be successful.
