Income of the population in Azerbaijan grew by 5.6%

March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Feb 2026, nominal income of the Azerbaijani population increased by 5.6% compared with Jan-Feb 2025 up to 12.573 billion manats, or an average of 612.5 manats per person per month.

ABC.AZ reports, with reference to the State Statistics Committee, that the average monthly income of the population grew by 5.2% in annual terms.

According to the State Statistics Committee, annual inflation in the country was 5.7%.

Prices for food, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products grew by 6.8%, for non-food products by 3.7%, and for paid services to the public by 5.7%. Compared with Jan-Feb 2025, the average price growth was 5.7%, and 0.6% in the last month.

According to preliminary data, population’s average monthly nominal income for January reached 631.2 manats. The income at the disposal of the population amounted to 10.9 billion manats. Per capita income increased by 4.1% year-on-year up to 531.5 manats.
