March 18, Fineko/abc.az. Over the past 2 months of 2026, Azerbaijan exported 72.208 million kWh of electricity for $3.923 million, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Customs Committee.

The export of electricity in value terms reached $12.452 million, or 76% (4.2-fold) and in quantitative terms - 223.978 million kWh, or 75.6% (4.1-fold) less against Jan-Feb 2025.

In the first 2 months of 2025, our country exported 296.187 million kWh of electricity for $16.376 million.

By the end of this year, the average export price for 1 kWh of energy was $0.054 (9.2 gapiks). Iin 2025, this figure was $0.055 (9.4 gapiks). This means a drop of $0.001 (0.2 gapiks) or 1.8% year-on-year.
