Last year, $1.177 bn was transferred to Azerbaijan from abroad, while $505.1 million was sent from the country abroad (8.7% more and 4.1% less than in 2024, respectively), ABC.AZ reports, quoting CBA Statistics Department’s director Samir Nasirov as saying this at a press conference at the Central Bank.

The CBA rep noted that in 2025, Azerbaijan received the most funds from Russia ($479.3 million), Turkey ($193.2 million), the U.S. ($100.7 million), Georgia ($43.6 million) and the UK ($42.4 million).

In addition, according to Nasirov, in terms of money transfers abroad during the year, Turkey ($145.7 million), the U.S. ($76.4 million), Russia ($46.4 million), the UK ($26.7 million) and Georgia ($26.2 million) entered Top 5.
