March 17, Fineko/abc.az. There was positive growth trend in the use of digital banking services in 2025, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Central Bank's Digital Payments Review for 2025.

It is noted that as of 01.01.2026, 21 banks, as well as Azerpocht LLC, render Internet banking services in the country, while 20 banks and Azerpocht LLC provide mobile banking services.

In 2025, the number of transfers from current accounts of bank customers made using paper and digital banking reached 1.6 billion transactions, and their volume - 507.4 billion manats.

Of the transfers made, 94.4% in number and 82.5% in volume were conducted through digital banking.

In 2025, customer transfers via online banking increased by 12.4% against 2024 up to 308.9 billion manats and transfers via mobile banking by 14.3% up to 73 billion manats.
