July 7, Fineko/abc.az. Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan plan to increase the volume of mutual trade turnover to $1 billion by 2030. This was announced by the Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Mikayil Jabbarov.

According to the minister, this goal will be achieved not only through direct trade but also by increasing mutual investments and expanding industrial cooperation projects.

It was noted that a significant leap has already been recorded in the first months of the year. During the first 5 months of the current year, the trade turnover between the two countries increased more than 3 times compared to the same period last year, exceeding $200 million.

These indicators prove that the economic partnership between the two brotherly countries has entered a new, more dynamic phase.
