July 6, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-May 2026, the volume of goods produced and services rendered in the industrial sector of Baku amounted to 21.9 billion manats (800 million manats or 3.8% more compared with Jan-May 2025), the Baku City Statistics Department informs.

In the first 5 months of the year, 72.9% of industrial output was produced in the mining industry, 23.4% in the manufacturing industry, 2.8% in the production, distribution, and supply of electricity, gas, and steam, and 0.9% in the water supply, wastewater treatment, and waste management sectors.

The share of the non-governmental sector in industry was 82.7%. In total production, the share of industrial output was 88.2% and the share of industrial services - 11.8%.
