February 4, Fineko/abc.az. Thanks to the activities of the Azerbaijani government and political leadership, our country has practically remained outside the global economic war.

ABC.AZ informs that Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s governor Taleh Kazimov stated this at a press conference.

He noted that we don't see any direct impact.

"But the indirect effect is an increase in inflation in the countries participating in this war, which may affect the prices of goods that we will import. The CBA always keeps these issues in the spotlight. Central banks, not only in our country, but in all countries, have many tools to combat this type of inflation. But we still believe that the processes in global trade will affect the growth of inflation among our trading partners," he said.
