January 30, Fineko/abc.az. Washington may impose duties on goods from countries that supply oil to Cuba.

ABC.AZ informs that U.S. President Donald Trump signed the relevant decree.

According to a document published on the White House website, the U.S. has the right to levy additional ad valorem (proportional to the value of the goods) customs duties on imports from countries that directly or indirectly sell or supply oil to Cuba. The specific amounts of these duties have not yet been determined.

Among the reasons for such a step, the decree mentions Cuba's cooperation with Russia.
