December 26, Fineko/abc.az. As of the end of November, the number of transactions with Visa payment cards (also payment cards on statistical unit) issued in Azerbaijan by resident financial institutions amounted to 130.7 million manats, and the volume reached 7.2 billion manats.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the CBA, compared with Jan-Nov 2024, the number of financial transactions grew by 36.4 million or 38.6%, and the amount grew by 1.4 billion manats or 24.1%.

At the same time, the number of transactions on Visa cards issued by non-resident financial organizations reached 721,700, and the amount was 64 million manats.

Transactions on residents' cards include all transactions carried out via cards issued by banks and financial organizations operating in Azerbaijan. On the other hand, transactions on non-resident cards are transactions carried out on the territory of a country using cards issued by foreign financial institutions.
