December 24, Fineko/abc.az. By the end of 2025, Ukraine will import around 6 bcm of natural gas.
ABC.AZ informs, quoting Sergii Fedorenko, commercial director at Naftogaz, that the company has managed to attract a sufficient amount of credit funds to ensure these purchases, and it is already "preparing for the 1st quarter of 2026". For this period, in particular, the supply of 300 million cu m of American liquefied natural gas (LNG) has been contracted.
Fedorenko also clarified that in 2025, the U.S. will supply 600 million cu m of LNG to Ukraine.
