Ukraine's economy grew by 3.6% in November due to agriculture

December 23, Fineko/abc.az. Ukraine's real GDP increased by 3.6% year-on-year in November.

ABC.AZ informs that this follows from the assessment of the Institute for Economic Research and Policy Advice. The main contribution was provided by agriculture, where the gross value added increased by 36% due to the later harvesting of corn. The economy was also supported by defense purchases and trade growth of 5.5%.

At the same time, a number of industries remained under pressure: the mining industry declined by 18%, the processing industry by 0.9%, and transport by 6%. In the energy sector, the decline was insignificant - 0.2%.
