Turkey's oil imports declined by 3% in October, while supplies from Russia grew year-on-year

December 19, Fineko/abc.az. Turkey imported 2.66 million tons of oil in October (3% less than in September, but 21.8% more than for October 2024), ABC.AZ reports, quoting country's Energy Market Regulatory Council (EPDK).

Over the past 10 months, oil imports increased by 6.6% compared with Jan-Oct 2024 up to 26.6 million tons.

This October, Russia supplied almost 1.46 million tons of oil to Turkey (12.6% less than in September, but 1.6-fold more than a year earlier). Over Jan-Oct 2025, exports totaled 13.12 million tons (5.8% less than last year).
