November 25, Fineko/abc.az. A new land plot will be purchased for the Alat Free Economic Zone (FEZ).

ABC.AZ reports that country’s president Ilham Aliyev signed a relevant decree.

Under the decree, the Cabinet Ministers must take the necessary measures to acquire a land plot with an area of 1,453.09 hectares in the administrative territory of Alat settlement of Garadagh district of Baku.

According to the document, the creation of the FEZ will also take into account the Land Management Plan for a land plot with an area of 1,453.09 hectares, which is in state ownership and belongs to the category of agricultural land in the administrative territory of Alat settlement of Garadagh district of Baku, provided for allocation of the Alat FEZ (Part V) drawn up by the Ministry of Economy.
