Taleh Kazimov: Global economic environment in 2025 was quite unstable

November 19, Fineko/abc.az. In 2025, the global economic environment was very unstable. During this period, uncertainty in global trade increased significantly. Global economic growth has slowed relatively this year, while inflation has declined at a low rate.

ABC.AZ informs that Central Bank of Azerbaijan’s governor Taleh Kazimov stated about this during the discussion of the Draft Law on State Budget 2026 at today’s Milli Majlis plenary session.

He said that according to the October report of the International Monetary Fund, global economic growth is projected at 3.2% in 2025 and 3.1% in 2026. In the report, the global inflation forecast for 2025 is maintained at 4.2%, and for 2026 it is increased by 0.1 percentage points and set at 3.7%.
