November 13, Fineko/abc.az. In the first 9 months of 2025, the balance of notes in circulation fluctuated depending on the state of the banking system and reached maximum of 744.2 million manats in August.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that as of the end of September, the total balance of funds sterilized by notes amounted to 622.4 million manats.

It was noted that during the 9 months of 2025, it was continued the holding of auctions for the placement of 28-day (1 month), 84-day (3 months), 168-day (6 months) and 252-day (9 months) notes as an auxiliary instrument for regulating liquidity in the framework of operations on the open market. In total, 118 different auctions of urgent notes organized by the Central Bank took place during this period. Of the auctions conducted, 30 were 28-day auctions, 29 were 84-day auctions, 30 were 168-day auctions, and 29 were 252-day auctions.

The yield generated at the latest auctions was 6.92% on 28-day notes, 6.94% on 84-day notes, 6.99% on 168-day notes and 7.06% on 252-day notes.
