September 18, Fineko/abc.az. The information & communication sector in the Azerbaijani economy maintains high growth rates.

Over Jan-Aug 2026, the ICT enterprises rendered services for 2.748 bn manats. The actual volume of services rendered increased by 10.7% against Jan-Aug 2025.

This indicator significantly exceeds growth rate of country's economy as a whole.

Thus, for Jan-Aug 2025, real GDP growth of Azerbaijan was 1.2% and the non-oil/gas sector - 2.1%.

Thus, growth rate of the information & communications sector was nearly 8.9-fold higher than growth rate of GDP as a whole, and 5.1-fold higher than in the non-oil/gas sector.
