Expenses on family, women and children in Azerbaijan next year published

November 13, Fineko/abc.az. The State Budget envisages 11.3 million manats for 2026 to cover expenses related to family, women and children in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Finance Minister Himalay Mamishov made this statement at a joint meeting of the Milli Majlis Committee on Agrarian Policy, the Committee on Family, Women and Children, and the Committee on Science and Education.

"Of those funds, 7.4 million manats were allocated for the organization of social, psychological and pedagogical work with people who have been subjected to domestic violence, human trafficking, early marriage, children with disabilities and their family members, as well as for activities related to the support of children and families. Expenses in this area have increased 3.5 times over the past 5 years. In addition, the budget provides for additional funds in the amount of 604,000 manats to finance the Fuzuli, Gazakh, and Shamakhi child and family support centers, which are scheduled to begin operations next year," he said.
