November 4, Fineko/abc.az. The Draft Law on State Budget 2026 should specify some amounts, ABC.AZ informs, referring to Accounts Chmaber’s conclusion to the bill.

As a result of the assessment conducted by the Chamber, it was noted that the indicators reflected in the draft are mostly correct, but discrepancies need to be eliminated.

The Accounts Chamber analyzed the indicators of the draft law by articles in accordance with Article 16.1 of the Law on the Budget System. Research has shown that in previous years and when drawing up the budget for the next year, the recommendations of the Chamber were mainly taken into account.

Amid the amendments to the Law on the Budget System, appropriate amendments were made to Article 8 of the Draft, and some inconsistencies in the functional classification were eliminated. However, it was noted that some improvements should be made to Articles 7 and 15.

According to the conclusion, although Article 7 notes that the functional classification of State Budget expenditures is indicated at the level of the unit and auxiliary unit, in some cases the amounts are also reflected by direction. In addition, some names of divisions and support units did not fully comply with the unified budget classification.

As a result of the analysis, inconsistencies were identified at the level of the support unit by 160.4 million manats, which affected some amounts in the project. On this basis, the Accounts Chamber concluded that it is possible to change the upper limit of the consolidated budget expenditures in Article 15 of the Draft Law.
