Production of cotton fiber and yarn has increased in Azerbaijan

October 28, Fineko/abc.az. Our country produced 48,100 tons of cotton fiber and 15,300 tons of cotton yarn for Jan-Sept 2025.

ABC.AZ reports, referring to the State Statistics Committee, that compared with the indicator for Jan-Sept 2024, cotton fiber production increased by 33% and yarn production by 23.1%.

As of October 1, stocks of finished products on cotton fiber totaled around 12,300 tons and on cotton yarn - 4,700 tons.
