October 27, Fineko/abc.az. The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) fulfilled drilling operations in the amount of 12,000 m in the 3rd quarter of 2025.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to SOCAR, that the compnay produced 1.8 million tons of oil and 1.94 bcm of gas at SOCAR-operated fields independently or as a major shareholder. Gas extraction in the country grew by 7.4% versus the 2024 same term to 13 bcm. As a whole, 7 million tons of crude oil were produced in Azerbaijan in the 3rd quarter of 2025.

SOCAR exported 4.1 million tons of oil. The export of natural gas in the country reached 6.3 bcm, and consumption - 2.4 bcm. Natural gas exports recorded an increase of 8.7%.

In the 3rd quarter of this year, SOCAR processed 1.7 million tons of oil and 760 million cu m of gas. 639,200 tons of oil, petrochemical and gas chemical products manufactured at SOCAR enterprises in Azerbaijan were exported to foreign markets. Exports of oil, petrochemical and gas chemical products recorded a rise of 2.7%.
