October 27, Fineko/abc.az. This September, Azerbaijan's auditors (111 audit organizations) concluded a total of 454 audit contracts.

Of them, 10 ones have been executed, conclusion was issued on 260 ones, 183 are in execution, and 1 contract has been terminated, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Chamber of Auditors.

It was noted that 371 of all contracts for totally more than 3.2 million manats were registered as part of the audit of financial and business operations.

According to the analysis, out of 371 concluded contracts, 219 related to the subject of mandatory, and 152 - to the subject of voluntary audit (59% and 41%, respectively).

During the investigation of the Chamber, it was found that the amount of 10 contracts concluded by 8 audit organizations and 2 independent auditors exceeds the "minimum limits of audit services".

These audit organizations include BDO Azerbaijan, Inter Audit, Private Audit, and others.

At the same time, it was found that 3 auditing organizations – AZ EKSPERT AUDIT LLC, Bizcon Audit LLC and FINANS AUDIT-M LLC - have contractual values below the minimum threshold in certain cases. For example, the cost of contracts was only 68-73% of the minimum thresholds. The heads of the companies stated in their explanations that in the coming years prices will be increased and adjusted depending on the volume of services.
