October 8, Fineko/abc.az. HSBC raised its forecasts for silver, expecting that the metal will soon exceed the 2011 maximum of about $50 per ounce.
ABC.AZ informs that the bank raised the average price for 2025 to $38.05, and for 2026 to $44.50 per ounce. HSBC forecasts the end of 2025 at $49, and 2026 at $41.50.
Analysts note that the gold rally is spreading to silver, demand for the metal is steady, and physical supplies are limited. Since the beginning of the year, silver has risen in price by almost 65%, reaching $48.8, while gold has grown by 55%, exceeding $4,000 per ounce for the first time.
According to the bank's estimates, silver will fluctuate in the range of $45-53 for the rest of 2025, and $40-55 per ounce in 2026.
