October 8, Fineko/abc.az. Residents of 8 industrial parks managed by the Economic Zones Development Agency (under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan) have saved 524.5 million manats so far by applying VAT benefits on imports and customs duties, ABC.AZ informs, quoting agency's press secretary Elchin Kazimov.

From January to August 2025, residents of industrial parks saved more than 19.5 million manats.

According to Kazimov, a total of 1,805 supporting documents were issued to entrepreneurs operating in parks, 210 ones for Jan-Aug 2025.

The residents of industrial parks are exempt from property taxes, land, profits, VAT and customs duties when importing machinery and technological equipment for production purposes for 10 years from the date of their registration.
