Number of people employed in banking sector rises by 5.4%

September 29, Fineko/abc.az. As of August 31, 2025, 22 banks operating in Azerbaijan numbered 498 branches, 87 sub-branches and 3,379 ATMs.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the report of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan, that since the beginning of the year, the number of employees in the banking sector has increased by 5.4% or by 1,372 people and reached 26,735 people.
