August 28, Fineko/abc.az. In January–June 2025, the STAR Oil Refinery, owned by the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) in Turkey, produced more than 137,987 tons of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG), which is 66.7% more compared to the first half of 2024.

According to ABC.AZ, citing Report, this was stated in a release from Turkey’s Energy Market Regulatory Authority (EPDK).

In June this year, STAR Refinery produced over 28,529 tons of LPG, which is 3.4 times more than in June 2024.

Overall, Turkey’s oil refineries produced 551,162 tons of LPG in January–June this year, and around 99,403,874 tons of diesel fuel in June — increases of 15.9% and 18.1% respectively compared to the same period last year.
