August 28, Fineko/abc.az. In January–June of this year, Azerbaijan exported 5.79189 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Turkey. According to ABC.AZ, this was reported by the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority (Enerji Piyasası Düzenleme Kurumu – EPDK). According to the report, this is 1.96% more than in the first 6 months of 2024. During this period, 5.52098 billion cubic meters of the total gas export volume from Azerbaijan were delivered under long-term agreements, and 270.91 million cubic meters on a spot basis.

In June 2025, Azerbaijan exported a total of 1.01983 billion cubic meters of natural gas to Turkey, which is 2.29% more than in the same month of 2024. Thus, in June, Azerbaijan became the leading natural gas exporter to Turkey. Azerbaijan accounted for 32.2% of all natural gas imported by Turkey.
