Copper prices rise on positive dynamics in China

August 25, Fineko/abc.az. Copper prices rose on Monday, August 25, amid optimistic sentiment in China, where key stock indexes are increasing by around 1% following U.S. markets. According to ABC.AZ, at the end of Friday’s session, the price of copper for delivery in three months increased by 0.74% on the London Metal Exchange, reaching $9,796.5 per ton. Meanwhile, by now, the September copper futures on Comex are up 0.46%, trading at $4.4795 per pound (about 0.45 kg).
