August 13, Fineko/abc.az. Government spending has played the positive role in supporting aggregate domestic demand for Jan-Jun 2025, ABC.AZ reports, referring to the Central Bank.

Overall expenditures increased by 6.5% against the 2024 same term up to 17.1 bn manats, while current expenditures of the State Budget grew by 7.5% up to 10.6 bn manats.

61.8% of the State Budget expenditures were directed for current expenses, 32.2% for capital expenditures, and 6% for expenses relating to public debt servicing.
In the 1st half of 2025, expenditures on social protection and social security were carried out at the level of 110.9% or 2.2 bn manats against the forecast.
