July 31, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Jun 2025, Azerbaijan’s space agency Azercosmos exported satellite telecommunications services worth $8.5 million (10.5% less versus Jan-Jun 2024), ABC.AZ informs, referring to the July issue of the Export Review of the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms & Communications.

In 6 months, nearly 100 companies from 41 countries imported satellite telecom services. Compared to a year earlier, the number of countries decreased by 7. The main export destinations were Great Britain - $2.3 million, Luxembourg - $1.8 million, Nigeria - $436,000, Turkey - $385,100, Egypt - $357,900.

For Jan-Jun 2025, the share of Azercosmos' export revenues in its overall revenues lowered from 78% to 65%.

In June, Azercosmos exported satellite telecom services for $1.5 million (6.25% less year-on-year).
