July 18, Fineko/abc.az. HP will begin to additionally monetize its laptops. It will turn them into devices for displaying ads to consumers.

ABC.AZ informs that there are no specifics yet on how this will be implemented, but HP already has experience demonstrating pop-up banners in which it advertises its products.

Advertising blocks may also appear on laptops from American company HP in the foreseeable future. It already has this experience – previously, it demonstrated other equipment of her own production using mobile PCs, displaying pop-up banners on their screens. This is what Adweek writes about.

HP took an example from Chinese company Xiaomi, deciding to integrate a full-fledged advertising platform into its equipment. But if Xiaomi sells devices for displaying ads under the guise of smartphones and tablets, then HP intends to disguise them as laptops.
