July 18, Fineko/abc.az. The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) has limited the validity period of the license dated September 18, 2024, issued to Modenis LLC, the owner of E-manat trademark.

ABC.AZ informs, referring to the CBA, that the license was issued for activities related to "acquiring payment transactions" and "issuing electronic money and performing payment transactions using electronic money".

According to the appeal of the organization, the license clause for the provision of payment services for "issuing electronic money and performing payment transactions using electronic money" has been canceled. Modenis will continue to operate as a payment organization.
