State standard ‘Natural fruit juices for diabetics’ cancelled due to lack of production

June 25, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization (AZSTAND) under the State Agency for Antimonopoly Control and Consumer Market Supervision has submitted for public discussion the issue of repealing state standard "Natural Fruit Juices for Diabetics".

ABC.AZ informs that the reason for the cancellation of the standard is the lack of production according to this standard.

State standard "Natural Fruit Juices for Diabetics" was adopted by the Azerbaijan Institute of Standardization and entered into force in 2024. This applies to natural juices made from standard fruits and berries, sterilized, with or without the addition of sorbitol, xylitol or other sugar substitutes allowed in the diet of diabetic patients.
