GDP growth in non-oil/gas sector of Azerbaijan made up 3.3%

May 13, Fineko/abc.az. Over Jan-Apr 2025, Azerbaijan's nominal GDP amounted to 39.305 billion manats.

ABC.AZ informs with reference to the State Statistics Committee that real GDP growth is estimated at 0.9% against Jan-Apr 2024.

In the non-oil/gas sector, GDP growth was 3.3%, while the decline in the oil & gas sector for Jan-Apr was 3.5%.

In the structure of Azerbaijan's GDP, the share of the industrial sector is 37.3%, the share of trade and vehicle repair is 9.9%, the share of transport and warehousing is 7%, construction is 5.9%, agriculture and fisheries are 3.3%, tourism and catering are 2.8%, information & communications are 1.8%.

As for other sectors, the share in the total economy of Azerbaijan was 21.7%. Net taxes on products and imports made up 10.3% of GDP.

GDP per capita reached 3,841.8 manats.
