September 18, Fineko/abc.az. The polypropylene plant of SOCAR Polymer was commissioned two months ago. 
SOCAR reports that works at Company’s high density polyethylene plant were completed by 98%.
The productivity of the plant, which is part of the SOCAR Polymer project in the Sumgait Chemical Industrial Park, is 120,000 tons.
In general, 30% of the products produced in the complex will meet the needs of the domestic market, and 70% of the products will be directed for export. 
The main part of the output intended for export will be delivered to the Turkish market.
