March 5, Fineko/abc.az. Trucks with electric motors are exempt from import customs duties in Azerbaijan.

ABC.AZ informs that PM Ali Asadov signed a relevant decree.

The decision to apply the 0% customs duty rate until 01.01.2028 on trucks powered only by an electric motor and manufactured at the factory no more than 3 years ago (the current duty rate is 5%) was made in order to encourage the use of eco-friendly and safe vehicles, as well as to improve legislation in this area.
