Pakistani PM gives instructions on Azerbaijan

March 4, Fineko/abc.az. Pakistani Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has tasked the Ministry of Commerce to develop a comprehensive plan to increase trade turnover with Azerbaijan up to $2 billion.

ABC.AZ reports that this decision was made at a government meeting on March 4, dedicated to the results of Sharif’s last trip to Azerbaijan.

"The PM said that the memoranda of understanding and agreements signed in Baku will be implemented immediately. Amid Azerbaijani president's announcement of his intention to invest $2 billion in Pakistan, PM Sharif established a committee led by Deputy FM Ishaq Dar. The committee will be engaged in the preparation of agreements in the energy and infrastructure sectors," the media noted.
