ABC.AZ informs that the statement was made by Finance Minister Samir Sharifov at a parliamentary meeting devoted to discussion of the budget package for next year.

He added that the World Bank gave a loan for activities of post offices:

"This was handled by the Central Bank and the Ministry of Communications & High Technologies. Given the inefficiency of the branches, conditions were created for the limited provision of banking services to them. These services are money transfers and utility payments. We’ll investigate and consider other possible issues for the post offices."
