August 29, Fineko/abc.az. TotalEnergies has launched a pilot project for an offshore wind turbine to supply electricity to the Culzean offshore platform in the British sector of the North Sea.

ABC.AZ reports, citing the press service of the French company, that in this way an innovative decarbonization scheme is introduced at the Culzean field.

The offshore wind turbine for Culzean will be located 2 km west of the Culzean platform, 220 km from the east coast of Scotland, with a capacity of 3 MW.
