July 25, Fineko/abc.az. A problem with non-cash payments ocurred in the markets of Azerbaijan. Thus, payment by cards through POS-terminals has become impossible.

ABC.AZ reports that in the markets, citizens are offered to pay in cash. And in large stores, administrators cashed out money using a card-to-card operation.

The cause of the problem is unclear. The problem is of general nature.

Citizens make non-cash transactions mainly because of the VAT refund. The appeared problem has created serious obstacles to implementation of this process.
