July 8, Fineko/abc.az. After the increase in prices for gasoline and diesel fuel in Azerbaijan, prices for some food products are also rising.

This is how the increase in meat prices was recorded. For example, veal, which used to cost 13 manats per kilogram, is now sold at price of 14.50 manats.

ABC.AZ reports that the price increase is observed not only on beef, but also on mutton.

A month ago, mutton cost 16 manats per kilogram, now it is sold at 19 manats.

According to research, meat sold in markets is cheaper than in places where animals are slaughtered.

Nevertheless, customers try to buy meat mainly in butcher shops.
