March 11, Fineko/abc.az. After conducting research, it became clear that we are considering the January 20 project together with 7 junctions, 7 road interchanges.

ABC.AZ reports that Deputy Minister of Digital Development & Transport Rahman Gummatov said this at a public hearing in the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry & Entrepreneurship.

The deputy minister said that the main problem is not the January 20 metro station: "If this issue is resolved, we’ll face this traffic jam in other directions. Therefore, we are considering this issue in a comprehensive manner."

He noted that this year the train fleet will also increase 2-fold: "It is expected that 35 trains will be delivered to the metro this year. This will also solve the problem."
