January 18, Fineko/abc.az. In 2023, 2,085,800 foreigners and stateless persons from 187 countries arrived in Azerbaijan (30.2% more than in 2022).

ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee that 30% of the arrivals are citizens of Russia, 18.1% - Türkiye, 7.9% - Iran, 5.6% - India, 5% - Georgia, 3.9% - Saudi Arabia, 2.8% - Kazakhstan, 2.6% - Pakistan, 2.2% - UAE, 1.9% - Uzbekistan, 1.5% - Ukraine, 1.4% each - Kuwait and Israel, 1.3% - Belarus, 1.2% - Turkmenistan, 1.1% - China, 1% - Great Britain, 11.1% - other countries.

Of the guests who arrived in Azerbaijan, 70.3% were men, 29.7% were women.

71.4% of foreigners and stateless persons who arrived in our country traveled by air, 27.3% by rail and road, and 1.3% by sea.
