Tahmazli said that as a result of fulfilling the requirements arising from the Law on Food Safety, which entered into force on January 1, 2023, successes have been achieved in ensuring food safety, state control over the food chain and other areas:

"A draft technical regulatory legal act has been prepared on the mandatory introduction of the HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points). Thus, large business entities engaged in production and processing activities should introduce the HACCP system two years after the entry into force of the Law on Food Safety, small and medium-sized businesses — after 4 years, and microenterprises — after 6 years.
