Nvidia to create a production base in Vietnam

December 12, Fineko/abc.az. Nvidia, one of the world's leading chip manufacturers, intends to establish a manufacturing base in Vietnam.

ABC.AZ reports that Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang informed about this at a meeting with Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chin during his first visit to the country.

The head of Nvidia noted that good relations between Vietnam and the United States serve as a favorable basis for cooperation in the fields of semiconductor industry and artificial intelligence. The company considers Vietnam an important market and intends to build its production here.

"The new production facility will help attract talent from around the world to contribute to development of Vietnam's semiconductor and digital ecosystem," Huang said.

Vietnam looks forward to cooperating with Nvidia in the field of creating infrastructure for the training of highly qualified personnel for the semiconductor industry, the construction of research centers, the design and development of chips and artificial intelligence technologies, Pham Minh Chin stressed.
