October 6, Fineko/abc.az. The European Union, together with G7, is ongoing preparation of sanctions against Russian diamonds.

ABC.AZ reports with reference to European Council’s president Charles Michel.

According to Michel, the EU, together with G7, is currently "making efforts to impose sanctions against Russian diamonds".

He noted that the restrictions should take effect from 2024.
