Baku accounted for 57.3% of retail turnover in January-June of this year, marking a 4% growth year-on-year, ABC.AZ reports with reference to the State Statistics Committee.
Other districts for the six-month period: 5.7% were formed due to the commercial activities of economic entities of the Absheron-Khizi Economic District (9.2% more), 4.9% of the Central Aran economic district (0.8% less), 4.4% of the Ganja-Dashkasan economic district (1.1% more), 4.2% of the Lankaran-Astara economic district (0.4% more), 3.8% of Gazakh-Tovuz economic district (2.5% more), 3.4% of Shirvan-Salyan economic district (0.5% more), 3.3% of Guba-Khachmaz economic district (0.2% more), 3.2% of the Shaki-Zagatala economic district (1.3% more), 3.0% of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic (0.5% more), 2.6% of the Garabagh economic district (1.4% more), 2.5% of the Mil-Mugan economic district (2.5% more), 1.7% of the Nagorno-Shirvan economic district (0.9% less).
