May 16, Fineko/abc.az. British company Anglo-Asian Mining Plc., engaged in the extraction of gold, silver and copper in Azerbaijan, has published a financial report for 2022.

ABC.AZ reports that AAM’s earnings from operations in the country for 2022 amounted to $84.7 million (8.4% less than in 2021 - $92.5 million).

Profit before tax by the end of 2022 reached $7.5 million (decline of 40.5% or $5.1 million). In 2021, the company reported the net profit of $12.6 million.

The total constant cost of gold mining has increased to $1,064 per ounce ($843 in 2021) because of production cuts.

As of December 31, 2022, company's cash assets totaled $20.4 million ($37.5 million for the same term of 2021).

AAM announced last year that it paid a total of $8.6 million in dividends of 4 cents per share in the same volume as in 2021.
