March 7, Fineko/abc.az. The most backward districts of the country in terms of monetary income and investments have become known.

ABC.AZ reports that according to the State Statistics Committee, 73 districts in the country with incomes and investments in several cities are at a minimum level and few-fold lower than the national average.

Following 2022, it became known that there are 11 districts with the lowest investments in the country — Zardab, Kengerli, Saatli, Goychay, Ordubad, Lerik, Sederek, Gedabek, Yardymly, Shahbuz and Naftalan.

From AZN 1 million to AZN 8 million were invested in these districts during the year. For comparison, in Azerbaijan, the volume of investments in 53 out of 73 districts and cities exceeds AZN 20 million and in 43 districts - more than AZN 30 million.

In general, in terms of the volume of investments, it is noteworthy that Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic has “poor” districts in the list, although about AZN 1 bn were invested in the city of Nakhchivan during this period.
