March 6, Fineko/abc.az. The Azerbaijani-Czech Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, Technical & Cultural Cooperation has held the 5th meeting in Prague.
ABC.AZ reports with reference to the Ministry of Economy that a delegation led by Deputy Economy Minister and commission’s co-chairman Sahib Mammadov went to the Czech Republic to participate in the meeting.
Before the meeting, he met with the Deputy Minister of Industry & Trade of the Czech Republic, Peter Tresnak.
During the meeting the parties stressed that the Commission is a convenient platform for expanding mutual economic ties in various directions. Czech companies were invited to participate in projects in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan, in the Aghdam Industrial Park and the Araz Valley Economic Zone Industrial Park, as well as to cooperate with the Baku International Sea Trade Port and the Alat Free Economic Zone.
